Waterscapes
In 2003, Marilyn made two dramatic changes in her life:
1. She married William Smith, who happened to be an amateur photographer and spoke the lingo.
2. She moved from busy midtown Atlanta to William's lakefront home in the northern suburbs, surrounded by nature.
"After many years of living and photographing in the city, I moved to Berkeley Lake, an oasis in the suburban landscape outside of Atlanta. As a documentarian who has photographed the urban underside, I discovered a natural and alluring environment with infinite possibilities for capturing new images. And, I could do this from my own backyard."
Natural Selections
Marilyn reached out to art consultants across the U.S. who found her Waterscapes and Natural Selections images to be a perfect fit for many of their higher-end clients.
